Simon has extensive experience of advising and acting in a wide range of civil and commercial matters, often in a construction, real property or landlord and tenant context.
 
In relation to construction matters, Simon has advised and acted for Employers, main Contractors, sub-Contractors and members of the professional team. In contentious matters, he has acted in adjudications, arbitrations and court litigation.
 
Simon has advised in relation to full range of property issues – from advising on equitable discontinuous leases to appearing in relation to adverse possession claims, boundary disputes and restrictive covenants. He has acted for both tenants and landlords in relation to service charge disputes and the appointment of a Manager pursuant to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.
 
Allied to Simon’s construction and property experience, he has advised and acted in relation to professional negligence claims against architects, engineers, surveyors, managing agents and solicitors.
 
Simon has wide experience from appearing before Tribunals, Arbitrations, and County Courts to the High Court and Court of Appeal.
